Welcome, friend — I’m Holly, the Texas-loving, people-gathering, tile-teaching heart behind Mahj with Holly.

After spending more than three decades leading in both public and private schools, I found myself drawn to something beautifully simple: bringing women together around a table to learn, laugh, and connect. Mahjong — with its strategy, rhythm, and rich tradition — quickly became my newest passion. And like most things I love, I couldn’t help but share it.

Mahj with Holly was born from that desire to create joyful spaces for women to learn something new, build confidence, and find real connection. Around every table, I get to blend the best parts of who I am:
a teacher at heart, a leader by experience, and a connector by calling.

I’m a wife, mom, Lela and educator-turned-entrepreneur, baker, reader, and lover of all things creative. When I’m not around a Mahjong table, you’ll find me baking, learning something new, or dreaming up my next event.

Why I Love What I Do
